A Hunter's Paradise in the Allegheny Wilderness

Hunting at Turkey Track Hunt Club

At Turkey Track Hunt Club, we are committed to quality wildlife management. As proud members of the National Deer Association, our club benefits from expert guidance provided by a certified NDA biologist. This ensures that our wildlife, especially the deer herd, thrives in a sustainable and balanced ecosystem.  Per our deer management program all deer(doe or buck) harvests must be reported to a TTHC officer.

Prime Deer Hunting

Our club boasts a healthy and well-balanced deer herd, producing large, mature bucks. The second rut in December is a unique highlight for hunters. Thanks to an abundance of high-quality food sources, many doe fawns reach the 80lb mark, making them ready to breed. This triggers a second rut, which offers thrilling hunting opportunities, especially for rifle hunters. If you’ve ever experienced the excitement of rattling antlers during this period, you know it’s a hunt like no other. The open areas and cutoffs provide excellent spots for stalking and calling in big bucks.

Diverse Game and Hunting Opportunities

Beyond deer, Turkey Track is home to a rich variety of wildlife. Our property offers excellent bear and turkey populations, along with abundant Ruffed Grouse and other small game. Whether you're an avid big game hunter or prefer hunting upland birds, there’s something here for everyone.

Extensive Hunting Territory

In addition to the 3,500acres of private club land, we are bordered to the north and west by vast public hunting areas. This includes a DMAP zone, State Forest, and Kane Hardwoods. These areas provide members with access to thousands of additional acres of prime hunting territory. Public hunters must access these areas from Route 155 near Keating Summit, which puts them 3 to 4 miles away and uphill from our location. This means you can roam freely without frequently encountering other hunters, enhancing your overall experience.

Turkey Track Hunt Club provides a premier hunting experience in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Allegheny National Forest, offering solitude, exceptional game, and ample opportunities to bag your next trophy.
