Club Rules

By Following the Rules, We Ensure the Club's Future

Rules & Guidelines for Members

Removal of Membership:

  • A member may be removed from the membership at any time and for any reason, especially for not abiding by these rules or those set forth by the landowner.

Membership:

  • Family members (of family memberships) who are 18 years of age must become single members unless they are in school or active military.

  • Children on a family membership cannot be on the club grounds, nor bring guests, regardless of age, unless accompanied by the member or spouse whose name is on the membership. Parents must supervise their children at all times.

Dues & Fees:

  • Club membership fees are due no later than May 30th.

Guests: (The purpose of allowing guests is to show interested people around our club.)

  • Guests may visit once, but must join after that. You are 100% responsible for your guest’s actions.

  • Guests are not allowed on other clubs unless you have permission.

  • No guests are allowed on club grounds during any hunting season, including Sundays.

Road & Trail Use:

  • Roads will not be maintained during winter.

  • If roads or trails are new, soft, or closed, do not drive on them. ATV use is confined to approved roads or trails. Do not make new trails. If you are unsure, stay off it!

  • A reasonable speed must be maintained at all times due to traffic.

Hunting/Harvest:

  • Harvest reports must be submitted no later than January 30th. All PA Game Commission rules apply.

  • All stands and blinds must have your name and number visibly displayed at all times.

  • Driving any metal object into a tree for any purpose is strictly prohibited.

Trailers & Campsites:

  • Contact the Site Officer. All trailers and campsites must display the name, address, and phone number of the owner in a window at all times.

  • Campers must be well-maintained and able to be moved at any time upon notice.

  • No permanent structures are permitted.

  • Campsites are expected to be clean and clutter-free — no trash, scrap piles, or excessive items.

  • If any items are deemed questionable, TTHC has the right to request they be removed or fixed. Failure to comply may result in loss of campsite privileges.

  • Campsites may be randomly inspected by TTHC/Lyme Timber/Three Rivers Forest Management.

  • Remember, we are guests on the land. Camping is a privilege, so please respect the rules.

  • For questions, contact a TTHC official or email tthccampsites@gmail.com.

Fires:

  • Fires must be contained in a proper burn ring. No fires are permitted during dry weather.

  • Never leave a fire unattended. Smoking is not allowed when fire risk is high.

Wood Cutting:

  • There is absolutely no bringing wood onto or removing wood from the club for any reason.

  • No cutting is allowed on active log landings or from log piles. Never cut standing timber, whether dead or alive.

  • Do not remove tree tops, pre-cut wood, or wood from campsites. No cutting is allowed during hunting season.

  • Non-members are not permitted to cut wood.

Timber/Gas Activities:

  • Respect contractors and their equipment. Avoid work areas.

  • Report any perceived incidents, potential problems, or illegal activities.

Trespassing:

  • Members are responsible for protecting the property from trespassers.

  • Gather as much information as possible without confrontation. Never risk injury—walk away if in doubt.

  • When uncertain, we will follow the guidance of our landowners and the PA Game Commission.

Gas Well Area Rules:

  • No smoking or open flames near wells or pipelines. Keep at least 50 feet from wellheads.

  • Turn around before reaching wells, and do not block access roads.

  • Do not touch equipment. In case of a gas leak, call 814-371-3800 or 888-634-4748.

Powersport Use: (ATV, SXS, Dirt bike, Snowmobile, etc)

  • Riding ATVs and other powersports are a privilege and can be revoked at any time if abused. All state laws must be followed.

  • Recreational riding on Turkey Track is available any time outside hunting season and on the Woodland lease starting Memorial Day weekend (Saturday at noon) and ending on Labor Day weekend.

  • There is no riding at Trophy Whitetail, McKean Hunt Club, or Clear Cut Club.

  • DO NOT create new trails. If caught creating a new trail, your membership will be revoked.

  • No thrill riding, jumping, mudding, or hill climbs are permitted at any time.

  • Riding is prohibited on strip jobs, quarries, gas wells, and timber areas.

  • When on another club's property, leave it in better condition than you found it. Be respectful and allow paying members their space.

Heavy Equipment Use:
The use of heavy equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, excavators, or similar machinery is strictly prohibited on club grounds. This rule is in place to preserve the integrity of the land and ensure safety for all members. Any violations may result in membership review and potential removal.

Do not travel off the Club or Leases onto surrounding land, such as Kane Hardwoods and State Game Lands. Trophy Whitetail, McKean Hunt Club, and Clear Cut Club have no ATV riding. Not following this may result in membership removal.
